American Society of Military Comptrollers
ASMC is a non-profit educational and professional organization for persons, military and civilian, involved in the overall field of military resource management. ASMC serves a growing professional society of 17,000 members.
ASMC promotes the education and training of its members, and supports the development and advancement of the profession of military comptrollership. The society sponsors research, provides professional programs to keep members abreast of current issues, offers a professional certification program and encourages the exchange of techniques and approaches.
The chapter draws its membership from the state's Army and Air National Guards, and includes the National Guard Bureau. With approximately 430 members, we have representation from all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
We hold ASMC events whenever possible in coordination with meetings, conferences or training sessions of National Guard personnel within the comptroller arena. The chapter sponsors a National Guard- Professional Development Institute. This annual event is usually held the end of March or beginning of April.
