PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: In 1971, I joined the INARNG as a Private E1, and at the same time, was hired as a GS 5 Computer Operator for the USPFO for Indiana.  I attended and graduated from Officer Candidate School in 1977, but declined the appointment to 2LT.  Instead, I accepted an appointment as a Data Processing Technician Warrant Officer and continue to serve in this military occupation specialty today.  After leaving the USPFO for IN in 1981, I held several Computer Specialist positions and served as a Military Pay Systems Analyst on a Title 10 Active Guard Reserve tour.  In 2001, I was selected for my current position as the Chief, ARNG Financial Services Center.  Most of my 33 years with the Government have been spent designing, developing, testing and implementing financial management systems for the Army and ARNG.  ARNG systems include the Active Duty Automated Pay System (ADAPS), Inactive Duty Emergency Pay System (IDEPS), JUMPS Uniform Terminal Input System (JUSTIS), Automated Funds Control Order System (AFCOS), State Automated Budget System (SABS) and State Automated Budget Expenditure Reporting System (SABERS).  I also designed and developed modules to manage Inactive Duty Training and Annual Training funds at the state level.  More recently I was assigned as the Project Manager for the ARNG Transition and Conversion to STANFINS.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUD: After high school I attended a technical college where I majored in computer technology.  After graduation, I spent the next 30 years attending numerous computer technology and science courses from just about every college and university in the local area.  I also attended numerous computer technology courses from organizations like AT&T, PowerSoft, Informix, Sybase, Microsoft, Oracle, and HP.  I received my M.S. in Management from Oakland City University in 1999.
