PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:   I HAVE served as the Financial Manager for the Oklahoma Army National Guard since March 1998.  Prior assignments include:  Budget Officer Sep90-Mar98; Fiscal Systems Analyst Feb87-Sep90; Pay & Exam Branch Chief Dec80-Feb87; Command Administrative Assistant Nov78-Dec80; and Administrative Supply Technician Mar75-Nov78.  Prior to fulltime service in the National Guard I worked as a DOD civilian at Tinker Air Force Base in Production Reporting for 6 years.  I HAVE over 34 years Military Service, 33 years Civil Service, and 22 years in the Comptroller Division.  I AM the Area IV RMIC representative and currently on the Instructor Staff for the RMIC Program Manager Course

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:  Graduated from Sulphur High School in Sulphur, OK 1965.  Attended University of Oklahoma for one year 35 credit hours prior to starting work as a government employee.  Have taken a few college courses since earning an additional 12 hours.  Attended numerous military career and professional development schools.

BRIEF PERSONAL PROFILE:  Married to Debbie (wife) for 29 years, two children (Tracy & Eric) and two grandchildren (Haley & Wyatt).  Active in church having served both as a Deacon and Elder in two different churches (and even led the singing on several occasions).  Special interests are playing (spoiling) the grandchildren, landscaping/ yard work, and fishing.
